The Thermus thermophilus Growth and Transformation kit has been designed for cloning and protein expression in both E. coliand Thermus thermophilus.

The applications of this kit include:

• Cloning and expression of thermophilic proteins in host systems
• Thermostabilisation of mesophilic enzymes using T. thermophilus as a cell factory
• Selection of termostable mutants in Thermus spp. through the inclusion of a kan cassette
• Overexpression of mesophilic proteins that cannot be expressed by common technologies
