Description:

ScripTools OneStep kit is a One-Step system for an efficient and specific reverse transcription of RNA molecules and the amplification of the resulting cDNA. The One-Step format reduces contamination risks and variability improving reproducibility of RT-PCR results.

The kit includes two high-performance enzymes, a robust thermostable reverse transcriptase working at a temperature range of 37 to 77 °C (see Figure), and a DNA Polymerase with proofreading activity (Biotools Pfu DNA Polymerase).

Both cDNA synthesis and PCR can be performed sequentially in a single tube due to a single buffer system formulated to ensure succesful RT and amplification of difficult targets such as:

• Secondary RNA structures
• Sequences rich in G+C
  
  

High Activity in a Broad Temperature Range The retrotranscriptase included in ScripTools One Step kit retains over 90% of its activity from 37°C to 77°C during a broad time range (from 10 to 90 min). Data included in figure belongs to activity at 30 min.

ScripTools OneStep kit is provided with an Enzyme mix (thermostable reverse transcriptase and Biotools Pfu DNA Polymerase), RT-PCR Buffer (including dNTP mix) and 50 mM MgCl₂, in separate tubes.
