BIOTUB kit

Description:

BIOTUB kit has been designed to detect human Mycobacterium tuberculosis by DNA amplification, in clinical samples (blood, lung tissue and sputum). The kit is a test for qualitative analysis and consists of two independent amplification reactions (PCR and nested PCR). The second reaction (nested PCR) has been performed to increase the sensitivity of the detection.

BIOTUB kit is supplied with:

• Amplification mix: The mix includes all the amplification reagents for the detection of M. tuberculosis, except MgCl₂ and DNA polymerase
• Nested mix: The mix includes all amplification reagents for the detection of M. tuberculosis, except MgCl₂ and DNA polymerase
• MgCl₂
• DNA Polymerase
• Positive control: Non-infective DNA sequence containing a generic sequence from M. tuberculosis flanked by primers
