BIOPAP kit

Description:

BIOPAP kit has been designed for detection of human papillomavirus (HPV) in clinical samples and differentiation between oncogenic and non-oncogenic genotypes, in a single reaction. Viral DNA present in positive samples is amplified by using specific primers, which hybridise in homologous sequences to viral genome. The kit detects 32 HPV genotypes in cervix samples and it differentiates between generic and oncogenic HPV genotypes.

The assay consists of a multiplex amplification reaction, using two pair of primers. One of them hybridises with sequences common to all tested HPV genotypes to detect HPV presence; the second pair of primers hybridises with a specific sequence for oncogenic genotypes to specifically detection of the most relevant varieties of virus.

• HPV mix: The mix includes all the amplification reagents for the HPVs detection and for the differentiation between generic and oncogenic genotypes, except MgCl₂ and DNA polymerase
