BIOHBV kit

Description:

BIOHBV kit has been designed to detect hepatitis B virus in a wide variety of clinical samples (e.g. blood, serum, plasma, PBMCs, hepatic tissues). The kit is a test for qualitative analysis based on a DNA amplification reaction. Viral DNA present in positive samples is amplified by using specific primers, which hybridise in homologous sequences into viral genome.

The present kit consists of a semi-nested PCR. The second amplification reaction increases the sensitivity and specificity of the assay.

• HBV mix: The mix includes all amplification reagents for the detection of HBV DNA except MgCl₂ and DNA polymerase

• Positive Control: Consisting of non-infective sequence of HBV flanked by the specific primers
