Human Endogenous Control Gene Panel

Description:
The Human Endogenous Control Gene Panels(TATAA Biocenter) consist of 12 validated qPCR assays for the most common endogenous control genes (see Table). In gene expression studies using qPCR, it is necessary to compensate for differences between samples due to material losses, differences in RT yields and/or PCR inhibition. A good way to correct these differences is by using endogenous control genes which should have a constant expression in all samples.
To choose the proper reference gene you can run a panel of potential genes on a number of representative test samples. Primer sets included are valid for their use with most qPCR commercially available master mixes containing SYBR® green I (e.g. Biotools Quantimix Easy SYG kit). We also offer each of the primer pairs individually (Individual Control Gene Primers).
Contents:
- Primer sets for 12 candidate endogenous control genes (enough for 100 rxn)
- Positive Control DNA
- GenEX Light: software to select optimum reference genes
