Biotools B&M Labs. S.A. represents Biosearch Technologies in Spain for the commercialisation of their primers and probes. Biosearch Technologies has developed a series of dyes & quencher pairs covering the entire visible spectrum, based on CAL Fluor^®, Quasar^® and BHQ^® dyes.

The BHQplus^TM probe is a novel and compact probe for qPCR with a duplex stabilising technology terminated with Biosearch´s Black Hole Quencher^®. What differentiates the BHQplus probe from other traditional probes is that it allows the design of shorter oligonucleotides that can detect difficult targets such as AT-rich regions and single nucleotide polymorphisms.  BHQplus technology offers:

Small but powerfull: duplex stabilisers permit the design of shorter dual-labeled probes.

High fidelity: shorter sequences offer an increased barrier against hybridizations forming mismatches.
