The SpeedTools Total RNA Extraction kit is a powerful kit recommended for the isolation of total RNA from:

cultured cells	yeast
cell-free biological fluids	bacteria
paraffin embedded tissue	tissues

                         
The lysis buffer included in this kit has been specially formulated to stabilise RNA during the extraction process. The kit provides high quality RNA suitable for applications like RT-PCR, primer extension or RNase protection assays. The whole procedure is easy and can be performed at room temperature, but once the RNA is eluted it should be treated with maximum care.

The SpeedTools Total RNA Extraction kit also allows the sequentially purification of DNA and RNA by using the RNA/DNA Buffer Tool Set. This set includes two buffers (DNA Washing Buffer and DNA Elution Buffer) and enables the successive elution of DNA and RNA.

The elution of DNA prior to RNA does not compromise either RNA quality or quantity. Sequential DNA and RNA isolation from one sample has been successfully achieved from different samples.
