Description:
The SpeedTools DNA extraction kit is faster and easier than traditional protocols which use density gradients and/or hazardous organic solvents. The kit employs a specially formulated lysis buffer and a high performance silica-membrane inserted in columns.
With the SpeedTools DNA Extraction kit, genomic DNA is extracted and purified from:
 cultured cells whole-blood* serum buffy coat
plasma other body fluids
*Treated with EDTA, citrate or heparine
The obtained DNA is ready to use for subsequent reactions, such as PCR, Southern blotting, or any other kind of enzymatic reaction. The SpeedTools DNA Extraction kit is also adapted to purify mitochondrial and viral DNA from different samples.
