SPEEDTOOLS KITS

The SpeedTools line covers a full range of kits suited for the extraction and purification of nucleic acids (DNA or RNA) from a great variety of samples (blood, tissue, plant, viral, food, plasmid, PCR reactions, agarose gel bands, etc.). Based on silica-gel membrane technology, our isolation protocols as well as our reagents are optimised to provide:

• Simple and reliable procedures for small amounts of samples
• Fast protocols
• Consistent high yields
• High purity nucleic acids

The silica-membrane (Figure 1) is already assembled in a microspin column. This format avoids the inconvenience of preparing silica slurries or resins, and it eliminates carryover problems which may interfere with downstream applications.

The number of manipulation steps (lysis-binding-washing-elution) (Figures 1 and 2) has been reduced to a minimum without compromising the quality (Figure 3).
