Lamda/HindIII

Description:

Lamda DNA is completely digested by the HindIII enzyme. This generates fragments of 23.1*, 9.4, 6.6, 4.4*, 2.3, 2.0, 0.6, and 0.1 kb, which can be visualised by staining with ethidium bromide. *Fragments marked with an asterisk may anneal and form an additional band which can be separated by incubation at 65 ºC for 5 min plus cooling on ice for 3 min. This marker can be used for DNA quantification.
