HI-GEL Matrix kit

Description:

The Hi-Gel Matrix is a gelling agent that improves the electrophoretic discrimination power of agaroses. This modified polymer combined with conventional agarose enables accurate separation among DNA or RNA fragments of less than 500 bp differing by as little as 6 bp.

The resolution of this mix is comparable to that rendered by high-resolution agarose gels, with a considerably minor cost.

HI-Gel Matrix exhibits the following properties:

• Used for high resolution of PCR products and short DNA fragments < 500 bp
• Resolution comparable to that rendered by high-resolution agarose gels
• Considerably minor cost than high-resolution agarose gels
• Replaces polyacrylamide gels for applications dealing with closely spaced DNA fragments
