ΦX174/HinfI

Description:

The φX174 DNA is completely digested by the HinfI enzyme. This generates fragments of 726, 713, 553, 500, 427, 417, 413, 311, 249, 200, 151, 140, 118, 100, 82, 66 (x 2), and 48 bp, which can be visualised by staining with ethidium bromide.

φX174/HinfI fragments are suitable for agarose and polyacrylamide gels, and can be used for DNA quantification.
