1 Kb Ladder

Description:

The 1 Kb Ladder is obtained from the digestion of different plasmids (pUC, λ phage, and sequences from yeast genome) by the corresponding restriction enzymes. These digestions generate fragments of 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.5, 2, 1.5, 1.0, 0.75, 0.5, and 0.25 kb, which can be visualised by staining with ethidium bromide.
