OPAldehydeSlideTM

Description:
The OPAldehydeSlideTM is an excellent substrate for the attachment of amino-modified oligonucleotides. The aldehyde groups on the slide surface bind to the amino groups on modified oligonucleotide probes to form stable covalent bonds.
Recommended uses:
- Gene expression analysis
- Comparative genomic hybridization (CGH)
- Oligonucleotide microarrays (wide applications)
Contents:
The OPAldehydeSlides™ are provided in different formats: 25, 100 and 500 slides.
SLIDE SURFACES
One of the major limitations of microarray analysis is the quality of coating chemistries on the glass surface. Deficient quality arrays printed on coated glass slides lead to a loss of sensitivity and variations in spot size, shape, and even probe content.
CapitalBio offers a full set of accurately modified glass slides suitable for both contact and non-contact printing with various nucleic acids and proteins.
CapitalBio has also developed various cutting-edge biochips utilising microfluidic technology, microprocessor technology and bio-electro-magnetic technology. Slides are coated with several layers of nitrocellulose, nylon, polilysine and agarose/ achrylamide, as described in different patents. Different functional groups can be used inside this microfluidic matrix.
We have studied and optimised a range of reliable and reproducible glass slides suitable for different microarrays. The following table has been designed for you to select the appropriate slide for each microarray application.
