February 27^th , 2012 – The Spanish biotechnological companies, Biotools and 2B BlackBio, reach an agreement with the Mexican pharmaceutics Silanes Laboratories.

• Biotools and 2B BlackBio, have reached an agreement on technology transfer and licensing of manufacturing of their products in the fields of molecular diagnosis and personalized medicine.
• After this agreement, Silanes Laboratories will be able to make and to commercialize the diagnosis systems patented by the Spanish companies, as well as to develop new products and systems based on the technologies transferred.

The Spanish companies Biotools and 2B BlackBio have signed a global license agreement of products and transference of technology, in the fields of molecular diagnosis and personalized medicine with the Mexican pharmaceutics Silanes Laboratories.

This agreement will allow Silanes Laboratories to make and to commercialize diagnostic kits based on nucleic acid amplification technologies and stabilization of complex reaction mixtures ("Gelification") patented by Biotools, and on the "accelerated high-sensitivity microsequencing patent" by 2B BlackBio, as well as to develop new products and systems based on the transferred technologies.

Silanes Laboratories has 68 years of experience in the pharmaceutical market and medical prescription. In addition it invests 10% of its sales in research and development at national level, in countries like Spain and the United States, and also has a portfolio of 100 health products.
