Biogenics Bt-176^TM Maize QT kits

Description:

The Biogenics Bt-176^TM Maize QT kit has been designed for the detection of Bt-176^TM Maize in fresh and processed food by Real Time PCR. The kit is based on the detection and quantification of a genetic marker of Bt-176^TM Maize (the cry1Ab gene). This kit also amplifies a sequence common in all types of maize (the invertase gene) to express the results as the percentage of Bt-176^TM Maize relative to the total maize content.

The amplification products are detected in Real Time using specific hydrolysis probes. The present kits areavailable for different real time thermocyclers (Corbett and Applied).
